Project Assistant in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 201309-05) (for 1 year from as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal).
Applicants should possess (i) five passes including Chinese, English (Grade C if syllabus A); (ii) good command of English and is able to communicate in Cantonese; (iii) familiar with MS Office application, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. (iv) good knowledge in ethnic minority / cross-cultural issues is an advantage. The appointee is required to (i) provide administrative and technical support for investigators to implement a research project in relation to teaching and learning of Chinese for non-Chinese speaking students; (ii) assist the investigators to liaise with seed schools and network schools; (iii) assist the investigators to conduct research; (iv) help to draft working reports; (v) perform other duties as assigned.
