Temporary Full Time Research Assistant I/II, Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education & Research (CACLER), Faculty of Education (Ref.: 20190615) (to commence on September 1, 2019 for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal)
 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above and prior research experience. They should be fluent in English and Chinese, highly responsible, organized and proactive.  Knowledge of Hong Kong education and schools, especially ethnic minority students, familiarity with mixed research methods and qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis are advantages.  

The appointee will work for a project on social media use and language learning, assist the Principal Investigator to collect and process research data, provide data transcription and literature review, manage and store research documents and data, prepare project reports, as well as oversee student helpers and student research assistants.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
