Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time (hourly-paid) Editor (ranked at Research Officer) in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 20190514), to commence as soon as possible until 31 December 2020.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Language Education or equivalent. They should have proven capacity and over 10 years solid research experience in mother tongue education and teaching Chinese for local ethnic minorities students, and a track record of high-quality research in the field of Chinese language education as first and second language and related areas.

The appointee will assist to write up and edit book chapters on Hong Kong medium of instruction (MOI) policy and related issues for publications.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
