The Project aims to improve the continuity between the Chinese curriculum and pedagogy for NCS student who transit to primary schools in Hong Kong; to gear up the professional capability of teachers in the L/T of Chinese for NCS kindergarten and primary students for a smooth transition; to nurture teachers as curriculum leaders, facilitators of learning and action researchers in schools to generate knowledge in L&T of NCS students who transit to primary schools in Hong Kong; to form strong professional learning communities within school and across schools, and enlighten the education community of Hong Kong on the theory and practices adopted for the L/T of the Chinese Language for NCS students who transit to primary schools; to cultivate a supportive multi-cultural learning environment for NCS students who transit to primary schools in Hong Kong; and to enhance the competency of new NCS entrants for the smooth transition to primary schools.
