The Conference was a great success, with over 300 delegates from Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, USA, China, Macau and HK exchanged ideas and insights during the occasion. This not only allowed local researchers and educators to explore the latest developments in Chinese as a Second Language, but also offered a highly synergetic platform for international delegates to learn about relevant teaching and research achievements of Hong Kong. The conference featured more than 200 papers by presenters from around 20 countries and regions, showing the ever-rising popularity of the subject matter in global academia.
