Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language and Education and Research (CACLER) is grateful to have invited Ms Rowena Cheung Po-man, principal of Hong Kong Taoist Association Wun Tsuen School to be our tutor for the first lesson of our Summer Institute. Principal Cheung’s sharings have already involved discourses of bilingual education, positive education, self-directed learning, VASK (Values, Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge), transition at the interface of kindergarten to primary school and primary school to secondary school, and more. The experience of Wun Tsuen School provides the practical experiences for researchers and teachers to amend, update and generate education theories.
